Located on South Palafox Street at the end of Palafox Pier. Visitors to Plaza de Luna are greeted by a life-size statue of Don Tristan de Luna, a splash fountain, concessions, and historic markers. It's a great place to fish, walk, and enjoy a cool breeze.
(For public health and safety, an automated system monitors water quality and may shut down the fountain for short periods of time until treatment can return the water quality to safe levels)
Concession services and public restroom facilities are available daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at deLuna’s Chat & Chew Grill (850) 262-0331. (Facilities may be closed during severe weather conditions.)
Where fishing is allowed, please help keep the area clean by properly disposing of bait, hooks and lines as well as fish waste and personal trash. For public health and safety, please do not feed the birds.
***THE SPLASH PAD IS OPEN***
The Splash Pad at Plaza de Luna is open for the season. The Splash Pad at Plaza de Luna is typically open daily from mid-March through October of each year from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Splash Pad at Plaza DeLuna contains a wind sensor that turns off the water when the wind reaches above 10 mph. This is to prevent water overflow in the parking lot instead of recirculating water through the attraction's filters and pump system. If you are visiting during normal hours on a windy day, it is possible that the sensor may be triggered if the splash pad is not operating. The water should cycle back on when the wind reaches under 10 mph. Thank you for your patience!
