  2. The Big Scoop 2019

    The Big Scoop offers as much of the sweet dairy treats as you can eat! Join Big Brother Big Sisters of Northwest Florida as they celebrate their 30th anniversary of service with the sweetest party in town! Attendees can taste an assortment of ice cream flavors, top with the best fixins' and try out others sweet snacks. There will be fun, games, and activities for everyone in the family! Big Brother Big Sisters of Northwest Florida have partnered with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos to make this year's Big Scoop the official pre-party before the Blue Wahoos take on the Mobile Bay Bears. At the Blue Wahoos game that evening, one of their very own Bigs and Littles will be throwing the first pitch, a group of Littles will be singing the National Anthem, there will be 50/50 chance to win tickets for sale, and an incredible fireworks show!

  1. 400 Paws Pet Adoption Event

    May 18, 2019, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

    Come out and find your perfect new furry family member and we will also be accepting donations for our Pet Food Pantry if you would like to donate while you are there. Information for Rescues & Shelters: All participants must bring their own cages, chairs, tables, extension cords and necessary booth supplies. You may set up starting at 8 a.m. First come, First serve on spaces available This is an inside event. The building is over 6,000 sq ft so there is plenty of room and we have a separate quiet room for cats. There is also a designated grassy area outside for walking dogs. We have a private meet & greet room for potential adopters to visit with the pets. We will also have a snack bar and there’s plenty of nice clean restrooms. We also have inside bathing facilities if you need to bathe your dogs prior to the event… (Just bring towels and supplies) All animals must be in crates, on leashes or contained areas and you are responsible for cleaning up your area before lea

    The HER (Honor, Empower, and Rebuild) Foundation, Inc. will be holding its 3rd Annual Running for HER 5k/Walk at Veterans Memorial Park, Pensacola, Florida. This event will raise awareness to the raising number homeless women veterans not only in Northwest Florida, but across the United States. HER is a professional foundation that is dedicated to serving our women veterans, who have served this country with dignity and honor.
