Help keep city parks clean! Join the Scenic Highway Foundation, Ocean Hour, Earth Ethics, and the City of Pensacola on the second Saturday of the month at Bay Bluffs Preserve from 9 am to 10 am for the cleanup of Bay Bluffs, Chimney Park, and surrounding area. Sign-in is at 8:45 am. All ages are welcome and all cleanup supplies will be provided. Closed-toe shoes are recommended. We hope to see you there!
Pack your coolers, bring your lawn chairs and join us at the Hunter Amphitheater for the Blues Angel Music Blues on the Bay Concert Series! Enjoy a cool breeze off the bay while dancing and listening to some of the region's best musical talent. Concerts begin at 6 p.m. and are free and open to the public.
Free one-hour pilates classes will be held in Community Maritime Park on the third Sunday of each month throughout 2022 at 10:30 a.m. Classes are open to all ages and levels of experience. Certified instructors from Pure Pilates Studio will provide instruction. The class is free, but you will need to BYOM (Bring Your Own Mat) and any other accessories you would like to use. Stay hydrated! Don't forget to bring a bottle of water. We hope to see you there!
The City of Pensacola Parks and Recreation Board meets on the third Thursday of each month at 8 a.m. in the Hagler-Mason Conference Room inside of City Hall. Citizens may attend board meetings in person or online.
Bring your blankets and chairs out to Hunter Amphitheater in Community Maritime Park for a family-friendly movie underneath the stars! Movies begin at sunset and free event parking is available at Community Maritime Park and City Hall. Come hungry because concessions are available from local food trucks! Picnic baskets are welcome too, but no pets or glass containers please. Movies are shown at the Hunter Amphitheater with grass seating only. Movie Title: "Space Jam: A New Legacy" (Rated PG)
