Weather precautions and reminders

The National Hurricane Center has begun to issue advisories on Tropical Depression Sixteen. The current forecast calls for this storm to move rapidly north, potentially impacting our area as early as Saturday or Sunday. 

In preparation of potential impacts residents can review the City of Pensacola hurricane preparedness website (link below) for tips, checklists, plans, and more to ensure you and your family are prepared.

Public Works and Facilities crews will continue to be out prior to any weather events as part of normal precautionary operations. We will continue to monitor and provide updates as they become available.If you see a storm drain that appears to be obstructed, please remove the obstruction. As an additional reminder be sure to also report non-emergency related issues to Pensacola 311.
