From my family to yours ...Happy Holidays! May your Christmas be filled with peace, love, and joy!

It is an honor and my pleasure to wish you all happy holidays.

I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to all those who work for the City of Pensacola. Whether it is staff who deliver services or those who manage our financial and human resources, thank you to one and all.

Thank you also to the private business community that provides vital employment, contributing to our thriving local economy. Thank you to the many wonderful community groups and volunteers that give their time and talents to make Pensacola a better place to live.

As a military community, many families will have a loved one absent or deployed in service to our country. Their sacrifice embodies the Christmas spirit.  Let's take this time to thank them for their commitment and sacrifice, and that of their families.

Every year, I'm reminded of just how special Christmas time is in our community. This Christmas I encourage everyone to reach out to someone who may be less fortunate, or more vulnerable, in the community. I also urge you all to be safe and ensure this time remains full of joy for all families.

Above all, I hope everyone can get in the spirit of this great celebration by enjoying the great community festivities taking place across Pensacola.
