Join the City of Pensacola for Bike to Work Day Friday, May 20


The City of Pensacola and Ciclovía invite the community to celebrate National Bike Month during Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 20 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The day will kick off with a group bike ride from Dunwoody Park to City Hall, followed by food, fun and festivities on the City Hall lawn at 222 W. Main St. 

The group ride will meet at 7:45 a.m. at Dunwoody Park, and will depart for City Hall at 8 a.m. Dunwoody Park is located at 3868 Baisden Road in Pensacola. Anyone unable to join the group ride is welcome to choose their own Bike to Work Day route, or simply stop by City Hall from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. to participate in the festivities.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Attendees can also enter a raffle to win a variety of prizes, including gift cards, bicycle helmets and other bike gear. Representatives from the City of Pensacola, Bike Pensacola, Ciclovía Pensacola, RideOn Commuter Services and the Department of Health will have tables set up at City Hall to share information on bike safety, health benefits of biking and more.
