S Street and P Street to Close May 16 for Roadway Improvements

S Street and P Street will be closed from Jackson Street to Cervantes Street beginning Monday, May 16 for the construction of roadway improvements in the area. The project will include complete removal and reconstruction of the roadway, along with installation of new sidewalks, curbs and gutters. Construction is expected to be completed by August, weather permitting. 

Traffic will be detoured via Jackson, Gadsden, Q and R Streets.
