PPD Urges Residents to Lock Vehicles Following Overnight Burglaries

The Pensacola Police Department is reminding residents to always lock their cars and never store valuables or firearms in a vehicle, following several overnight car burglaries.

The burglaries occurred overnight at apartment complexes in the north end of the city at 711 Underwood Ave. and 6101 College Pkwy. PPD is currently investigating 12 vehicle burglary reports between these two locations. All of the vehicles were unlocked and at least two firearms were stolen.

If you do become a victim of a vehicle burglary, contact PPD to document the incident even if no property was stolen.
