City Completes 17th Avenue Crosswalk Improvements

City of Pensacola Public Works & Facilities crews have completed improvements to the 17th Avenue crosswalk at Miraflores Park, further enhancing pedestrian safety in the area.

The new and improved crosswalk is located on North 17th Avenue between East La Rua Street and East Belmont Street. Improvements included replacing previous striping, installation of flashing crosswalk signs, replacement of the ramps at the crossing location, and reestablishment of the northbound left turn arrow at 17th Avenue and La Rua Street.
