FDOT: Intermittent Nighttime Lane Closures Garden/Chase Streets

Chipley, Fla. – Drivers on U.S. 98 (Garden Street/Chase Street) will encounter brief, intermittent lane closures the week of Monday, May 24 as crews mobilize materials and equipment needed to repair and maintain manholes. 
 
Routine manhole maintenance will be at the following:

• East Chase Street and North Palafox Street intersection 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.  Monday, May 24 through Thursday, May 27.
• West Garden Street and Brue Street intersection 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.  Monday, May 24 through Thursday, May 27.
• East Garden Street and North Tarragona Street intersection 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, May 26 through Thursday, May 27.
• East Chase Street and North 12th Avenue intersection 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, May 24 through Tuesday, May 25.

 All activities are weather-dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to use caution, especially at night, when traveling through a work zone and to watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway.
