Bayview Park Parking Lot Closed July 24 - July 31
The parking lot accessible via Lloyd Street at Bayview Park will be closed for paving and milling starting Friday, July 24 through Friday, July 31. The parking lot entrance at Lloyd Street will remain closed for the duration of the project. Citizens may enter and park at the main entrance at the top of the hill on 20th Avenue. Parking spaces will be limited.
The senior meal pickup site will not operate at Bayview Senior Resource Center Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31. Council on Aging will provide one hot meal on Friday, July 24 and will provide five shelf stable meals to each citizen receiving a hot meal to last through Friday, July 31. Seniors may access Bayview's meal pickup site on Friday, July 24 via the 20th Avenue parking lot entrance.
Seniors will still have the option to pick up meals at the following resource centers as an alternative:
- Cobb Resource Center, 601 E. Mallory St.
- Fricker Resource Center, 900 N. F St.
Meals will be available
for pickup only. Seniors must call Council on Aging at 432-1475 before noon the day before pickup to reserve their meal.
The parking lot at Bayview Park is expected to reopen on Saturday, Aug. 1.
Bayview Park is located at 2001 E. Lloyd St. The 20th Avenue main parking lot entrance is located at the northwest side of Bayview Senior Resource Center. For more information about parks, playgrounds and locations, visit
