Pensacola International Airport Reminds Travelers to Allow Extra Time for Parking during the Holidays

Pensacola International Airport reminds travelers to arrive early for their flights this holiday season, with Thanksgiving and Christmas being especially busy travel times at the airport. Travelers should arrive at least two hours prior to their boarding time to allow sufficient time to locate a parking space, check in and go through security.

Due to a great rate of passenger growth combined with the holiday travel season, the parking garage and ground surface lots at Pensacola International Airport often remain full this time of year. However, complimentary shuttles are available from Economy Lots 1 and 2, running in approximate 15-minute intervals.

Please see maps below showing locations of Economy Lots 1 and 2, which are less likely to fill up than the parking garage and surface lots.

Additional parking information:

Economy Lot 1 is located on the right as you enter the main entrance to the airport.
Economy Lot 2 is located on the north part of airport property and is accessible via the main airport entrance, which loops around to the lot past the surface lots and parking garage.
The parking garage and surface lot close to the terminal are accessible once inside the main entrance via the left lane.

PNS offers non-stop service to 20 locations in the United States. The airport sees roughly 80 daily arrivals and departures and serves more than two million passengers each year. Six airlines provide service to PNS.
