The City of Pensacola has been engaged in a planning process over the last year to update its Vulnerability Assessment initially conducted in 2021. Grant funding received from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Office of Resilience and Coastal Protection is allowing the city to comply with new state legislative requirements. The city is completing the modeling and analysis for the project and is now conducting the second of a two-part series of public meetings to gain your input and feedback on the type of adaptation response residents would like to see the City of Pensacola pursue.
City residents with additional information or unable to attend the Feb. 15 event can provide their feedback on areas of flood concern, including city facilities, infrastructure and assets, through the five-minute survey here.
