ECUA Recycling Update: Operations Set to Resume Monday, June 12

Plans are still in effect for ECUA to resume full operations of the Materials Recycling Facility on Monday, June 12, after a successful soft start this week.

The City of Pensacola will also resume recycling on Monday, June 12 since ECUA's recycling facility will be accepting mixed recyclables again.

The City of Pensacola Sanitation Services Department uses ECUA's recycling facility to process recyclable materials from City Sanitation customers. Due to a staffing shortage at ECUA's facility, recycling for City of Pensacola Sanitation customers has been temporarily limited to cardboard only since mid-April.

The city appreciates the public's patience during this temporary change in services.
