Mayor, NPS to Host Journey to Juneteenth Ferry Cruise and Fort Pickens History Tour
The community is invited to join Mayor D.C. Reeves on Sunday, June 11 for a Journey to Juneteenth Pensacola Bay City Ferry cruise and history tour of Fort Pickens, in partnership with the National Park Service.
This family-friendly event will include a 2-hour cruise from downtown Pensacola to Fort Pickens, along with a guided tour of Fort Pickens focused on our region's historical role in the Underground Railroad, in celebration of Juneteenth.
Tickets can be purchased at pensacolabaycityferry.com for $25, and children 2 and under are free. Use the promo code "Juneteenth" at checkout for $5 off.
The cruise will depart at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 11 from the Downtown Ferry Landing, located at 750 Commendencia St.

This event is part of the 2023 event lineup for Journey to Juneteenth, a month-long celebration spanning from May 20, Florida’s Emancipation Day, through June 19, the federal Juneteenth holiday.
