Martin Luther King Jr. Day Closures, Changes to Sanitation Collection Schedule

The following City of Pensacola offices and facilities will be closed Monday, Jan. 16 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

City Hall
City of Pensacola community resource centers

Exceptions:

Osceola Golf Course and Roger Scott Tennis Center will remain open.

Sanitation Service Changes:

All City Sanitation customers will experience a change of schedule the week of Monday, Jan. 16, which applies to garbage, recycling and yard waste pickup. This applies only to City of Pensacola Sanitation customers.

Customers who normally receive service on Mondays will receive service on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
Customers who normally receive service on Tuesdays will receive service on Wednesday, Jan. 18.
Customers who normally receive service on Wednesdays will receive service on Thursday, Jan. 19.
Customers who normally receive service on Thursdays will receive service on Friday, Jan. 20.

As a reminder, Pensacola Sanitation customers can keep up with collection schedule changes through the Recycle Coach app.

The Recycle Coach app is a free resource, available now to download on the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Recycle Coach can also be used via the online web app on the Recycle Coach website or City of Pensacola website.

To use Recycle Coach, City of Pensacola Sanitation customers can search "Pensacola" in the app, then select "Pensacola, Florida, USA (City of Pensacola)."
