City Completes Drainage Improvements to
Osceola Golf Course
The City of Pensacola is pleased to announce the completion of significant drainage improvements to Osceola Golf Course, which will enhance the overall golfing experience for visitors to the beautiful 18-hole course.
The drainage improvement project included the addition of a 2,200-foot long, 30-foot wide drainage ditch through the golf course, which will help mitigate flooding on the course during heavy rainfall. The ditch also features erosion control fabric to help manage water drainage from the golf course and surrounding areas, while also improving the watershed in the area.
Approximately 50,000 square feet of new sod was also added through the project, enhancing the look of the golf course. The drainage improvement project was primarily funded through FEMA, and it included the completion of repairs to fencing damaged by Hurricane Sally.
Located at 300 Tonawanda Drive, Osceola Golf Course features a challenging 18-hole course and a shaded driving range, with beautiful greens and a state-of-the-art practice facility for golfers of all skill levels to enjoy.
