City Council Special Meetings and Mayor Installation Ceremony Scheduled for Nov. 22

City Council will hold two special meetings on Tuesday, Nov. 22 to recognize outgoing City Council members and Mayor Grover C. Robinson, IV, along with swearing in new City Council members. The meetings will be followed by the Installation Ceremony for Mayor Elect D.C. Reeves.

The meetings will take place in Council Chambers, located on the first floor of City Hall at 222 W. Main St. as follows:

11:45 a.m. - Special City Council Meeting: 1) Honoring Council Member Sherri Myers; 2) Honoring Council Member Ann Hill; 3) Honoring Mayor Grover C. Robinson, IV; and 4) Ratifying and Confirming All Acts of City Council – 2020-2022.
Noon - Special City Council Meeting: 1) Oath of Office for Council Members Elect Charles Bare, Jared Moore, and Allison Patton; 2) Election of City Council President; and 3) Election of Vice President.
Immediately following the Special City Council Meetings: The Installation Ceremony for Mayor Elect D.C. Reeves and Administration of the Oath of Office.

A reception will be held immediately following the meetings in the Hagler-Mason Conference Room, located on the second floor of City Hall.
