City of Pensacola Wins 2021 MobileWebAward for PARKPensacola Website
After debuting its new PARKPensacola website in November 2020, the City of Pensacola and local public relations agency Ideawörks were recognized by the Web Marketing Association with an “Outstanding Mobile Website" award for superior achievement in mobile development as part of the association’s eighth annual MobileWebAwards competition.
Designed by Ideaworks’ Digital Marketing team, the PARKPensacola website focuses on educating users about parking downtown and using the PARKPensacola app, whether they are residents or visitors. The site uses simple, concise information and video to provide a seamless and user-friendly experience.

"Our digital marketing team worked very hard with us to provide customers with a great, mobile-optimized online experience that meets their needs and reflects the city’s commitment to excellence."
The Web Marketing Association was founded in 1997 to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and development of the best websites on the World Wide Web. The MobileWebAwards were judged on seven criteria seen as requirements for a success mobile website or mobile app. They include Creativity, Impact, Design, Content, Interactivity, Ease of Use and Use of the Medium. Each mobile website or mobile app entry is judged against other entries of the same format in its industry category and then against an overall standard of excellence.
