Areas of Plaza de Luna Reopen After Hurricane Sally
Some areas of Plaza de Luna have reopened after temporarily closing due to damages sustained from Hurricane Sally. The memorial monument, pier and park grounds at Plaza de Luna are open for the public to enjoy. The park was temporarily closed from Sept. 17, 2020 through March 3, 2021 while repairs were completed.
The fountain and Splash Pad at Plaza de Luna will remain closed until further notice. Park visitors should refrain from accessing barricaded areas to include the fountain and splash pad until they are deemed safe for use.
Plaza de Luna is located at 900 S. Palafox St.
