Scam Alert: Fraudulent Phone Calls Posing as Pensacola International Airport


The City of Pensacola has received reports about a fraudulent phone call appearing to be from a Pensacola International Airport extension, in which the caller claims the individual has won a sum of money and requests bank account information to deposit the funds.

These phone calls are not legitimate and are not from Pensacola International Airport. Anyone who receives a suspicious phone call from someone claiming to represent Pensacola International Airport and asking for banking information should immediately hang up.

Remember to be mindful of scams via phone, email, mail, text or social media, and never share personal information like your bank account number or Social Security number. To learn more about common scams and how to avoid them, visit usa.gov/common-scams-frauds.
