City Staff Participating in 'Pensacola Climate Action: What's Next?' Virtual Conference Dec. 8
City of Pensacola staff will participate in the Pensacola climate action: What's next? virtual conference on Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 6:30 p.m., a free community event focusing on the Climate Mitigation and Adaptation Task Force's findings and next steps.
Participants are asked to register for the virtual conference in advance using this link.
City of Pensacola Assistant Planning Director Cynthia Cannon and Sustainability Coordinator Mark Jackson will join the conversation to discuss what Mayor Grover Robinson and the City have accomplished so far and plan to do in the future for climate mitigation.
The meeting will include a presentation by Elaine Sargent recapping the Climate Mitigation and Adaptation Task Force's findings and recommendations, followed by questions and discussion from participants facilitated by Christian Wagley. Task Force members expected to be in attendance include Elaine Sargent, Carrie Stevenson, Cynthia Cannon, Dr. Haris Alibasic and Dr. Wade Jeffrey.
