The video features an excerpt from Dr. Seuss' book "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" read by City Council members, Mayor Robinson and city employees from various departments, including Pensacola International Airport, Pensacola Fire Department, Pensacola Police Department and more. The video also includes a tribute to City of Pensacola employees and children of employees who are graduating this year.
"We wanted to make sure this year's graduates know that their hard work and sacrifices have not gone unnoticed," Mayor Robinson said. "The class of 2020 has faced many challenges as they prepare to enter the next chapter of their lives, and I'd like to wish the graduates a sincere congratulations on behalf of the City of Pensacola."
Congratulations, class of 2020!
