Fun-Filled February for Pensacola's Senior Community


The City of Pensacola's Parks and Recreation Department is thrilled to roll out its February activity lineup for our senior community. From game night, to a Roaring 20's Beauty Pageant as well as our beloved 'Party Gras', we look forward to concluding our winter season with fun-filled festivities for our city's thriving generation. Details for each event can be found below.

Senior Game Night at Woodland Heights


Join us Friday, February 7th at Woodland Heights Resource Center for our monthly Senior Game Night!  Senior Game Night is hosted every second Friday of the month, however we will be pushing our date up for the month of February in observance of Valentine's Day.

We've pushed up our date, but haven't pushed out the fun! We invite everyone ages 50 and up to come out and play to win some of your all time favorite card games, BINGO and more! Dinner will be served.

Roaring 20's Senior Beauty Pageant


In partnership with Summer Vista Assisted Living Community, Regency Hospice, Home Care Solutions and Assisted Living Locators, Bayview Senior Center will host Pensacola's first and foremost pageant to emphasize and give honor to women who have reached the 'Age of Elegance'. Our Roaring 20's Senior Beauty Pageant will take place on Friday, February 21st from 11 AM - 1 PM at Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Resource Center at 913 South I Street.

All ages are welcome to come out and be apart of the celebration!

Its Party Gras Time!


Bring out the beads and put on your masks because its Party Gras Time! Join us on Tuesday, February 25th, 2020 for a community event for ages 50 and up with vendors providing community resources and health screenings.

Be sure to bring an empty stomach and your dancing shoes as we'll also have live music by 
The String Farm Band and will be serving delicious king cake and red beans and rice!
