Gull Point Resource Center Renovations to begin mid-summer

Gull Point Hip Hop Dance Class

The City of Pensacola Parks and Recreation Department has planned renovations at Gull Point Resource Center, 7000 Spanish Trail to take place mid-summer through early fall.

Renovations include an expanded and updated kitchen, updated restrooms, and classrooms. Upgrades in the dance classrooms will better accommodate the dance program's recent shift toward more modern classes that are comparable to others offered in the local area.

Work is expected to begin mid-summer and Gull Point will be closed until the repairs and updates are completed. Programming such as adult fitness classes, children's dance classes, and Summer Camp programs will be temporarily relocated to the Vickrey Resource Center, 2130 Summit Blvd., with no expected disruption to the projected Summer or Fall schedules of either facility.
