The Pensacola Police Department is asking for help from the public to identify two vehicles that struck a man and left the scene.
The incident occurred on April 15th at 3:00 am on Barrancas Ave near Main Street. The victim walked onto the roadway and was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle stopped, and called 911 for assistance. Before the arrival of emergency personnel, a dark colored Ford F-150 Platinum truck also hit the victim, and did not stop. It continued west bound on Barrancas Ave in the direction of the Bayou Chico Bridge. Moments later, a 2004-2009 Toyota 4-Runner SUV struck the victim. The driver of the 4-Runner stopped, exited the vehicle, and walked over to the victim. The driver then walked back to the 4-Runner, got inside and left the scene west bound on Barrancas Ave.
