American Airlines launches daily nonstop service to Philadelphia

Pensacola International Airport Gains New Daily Nonstop Route

American Airlines will launch daily nonstop service between Pensacola International Airport (PNS) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) on June 7, 2018. Passengers will be able to begin booking flights Monday, January 22, 2018, at http://www.aa.com.

"This new air service opens up tremendous travel opportunities for residents and visitors for both domestic and international destinations," said Pensacola Mayor Ashton Hayward. "Philadelphia International Airport is a huge hub city and we couldn’t be more excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for travelers. We are thrilled that American Airlines continues to invest in Pensacola and we look forward to continuing this successful partnership.”

Flights are scheduled to depart Pensacola daily at 4:09 pm CST and arrive in Philadelphia at 7:39 pm EST. Passengers will enjoy a 2-class configuration aircraft with Wi-Fi.

“Pensacola International Airport is excited about the addition of direct flights to Philadelphia with American Airlines, said Pensacola International Airport Director Dan Flynn. “This service represents not only another direct flight option for the residents and businesses located in the Pensacola and Greater Gulf Coast area, but also a valuable increase in the number of connections to domestic and international cities in the American network.”

Philadelphia International becomes Pensacola International Airport’s eighteenth nonstop destination. Philadelphia becomes the fifth nonstop destination served by American Airlines out of Pensacola including Charlotte, Dallas, Miami and Washington DC.
