Road Incident Map added to PPD website

By PIO Mike Wood

The Pensacola Police Department added new real time information to it’s website. It’s a green icon on the right side of the page labeled “Road Incident Map”. Click on it, and you get up to
date locations of traffic crashes, flooded roadways, stalled vehicles, road obstructions, non
functioning traffic lights, and street closures.

The information is entered by dispatchers at the Pensacola Police Department, who are constantly kept up to date by police officers, fire fighters, and employees from the Pensacola Department of Streets and Traffic.

The Pensacola Police Department’s website can be found at www.pensacolapolice.com
