Late Tuesday night a man walked into a local business, indicated he had a gun and demanded money from a store employee before running from the business on foot.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. at the Dollar General, 1407 W. Garden St.
Detective Gilbert Galloway Jr. said the suspect never showed a weapon during the robbery, but kept his hand in his pocket as though he had one. He ran eastbound from the business with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is a black male, approximately 5 feet 8, 240 to 315 pounds, possibly bald headed, and had goatee style facial hair.
