Pensacola Police are investigating a shooting that occurred
this afternoon and sent one man to a local hospital for treatment.
A man contacted police around 3:50 p.m. today after hearinga gun shot. The incident occurred in the 5900 block of Sanders Avenue.
Detectives are pursuing leads on the shooting.
