Starting today, Fire Station 3 will be closed for an estimated 2-week period for cleaning and mold remediation. Station 3 personnel will be relocated to Fire Station 6 until the cleaning is complete. The temporary move will have minimal impact on emergency response times.
Fire Station 3 is scheduled to be replaced with a new building in 2017. The City is in the process of selecting an architectural firm and expects to award a contract in June.
