BAYVIEW SENIOR IN-PERSON PROGRAMMING IS BACK!

BSC In-Person is Back

We've patiently waited and are excited to announce, Bayview Senior Center in-person programming is back!

With the exception of Parking Lot Bingo Bayview Senior Center in-person programming will be offered on a reservation-based system. Citizens must call in advance to reserve their spot in order to participate. Not quite ready to resume in-person? Don't fret! Programming will still be offered virtually. To join the fun, like and follow Bayview Senior Center on Facebook.

Programming will take place in two phases:

Phase Zero: Monday, Oct. 12 Monday, Nov. 2, 2020

Phase One: Thursday, Nov. 5 Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020

Phase Zero

Curbside Meal Pick Up

Monday - Friday, 11:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. 

Call the Council on Aging directly at 850-432-1475 to sign up or reserve your meal. Participants may also meet with a Council on Aging meal site supervisor in person at Bayview from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.

 

Ageless Grace

Mondays, Wednesdays Fridays, 11:30 a.m.

Please contact Sharyon Miller with Ageless Grace at 221-8630 or Molly with Bayview Senior Center 436-5188 to reserve.

Exercise with John & Blake 

Tuesday, Oct. 13, Oct. 20 & Oct. 27, 9:00 a.m

Please contact Blake Pablo with Island Doctors at 261-3183 or Molly with Bayview Senior Center at 436-5188 to reserve. 

Parking Lot Bingo! 

Thursday, Oct. 15, 12:30 – 2:00 p.m.

Participants will be parked in designated spots as directed by staff. Participants will have the option to remain in their cars or sit on a lawn chair outside of your vehicle. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each game. Three bingo cards and a dry erase marker will be available for purchase for $2.00. Participants are responsible for keeping up with their cards and dry erase marker. Additional cards and markers may be purchase if set is lost. Please contact Molly to reserve a parking spot at 436-5188 or mmahtani@cityofpensacola.com. Reservation is not mandatory but is encouraged.

In-person and virtual event. Enjoy music, journaling, and learn the brain health benefits of both music and journaling. Please call 850-221-8630, to reserve your spot! Limited to 15 people or less.

 

MONSTER MASH PARKING LOT BASH! 

Friday, Oct. 30

Ghostly Greetings from your favorite crew, Bayview! We would like, if we may, to take you on a strange and spooky journey. Join us on Friday, Oct. 30 for a fang-tastic afternoon of treats, chills, and thrills! We will have community resources, games, giveaways, music, and food. This event is FREE and will take place in the parking lot between the Bayview Senior Center and the new Bayview Community Center. Be sure to dress to impress in your best Halloween Costume. Winners will receive a gift card from local eateries. Participant safety is our priority. There will be safety precautions and protocols in place to ensure a safe event. All attendees are required to wear a mask and maintain six feet distance from persons outside their group.  MONSTER MASH PARKING LOT BASH! is sponsored by Ageless Grace Gulf Coast and Summer Vista. Living Your Best Life! 

Monday, Nov. 2, 10:00 a.m. 

In-person event providing tips and tricks on how to live your best life! Please call 850-436-5188 to reserve your spot! Program participation will be capped at 15 people.


Tuesday, Nov. 3 

Bayview Senior Center will serve as a Presidential Election Polling Site and will be closed for programming. 

 

Wednesday, Nov. 4

Bayview Senior Center will be closed to conduct a deep cleaning of the building post-election. 


PHASE ONE

Phase One will begin programming inside of the Bayview Senior Center building. Masks are required. Phase One will last for the duration of four weeks, to be extended upon public safety and health concern surrounding the pandemic.

Dementia Support Group!
