How's this for a throwback? Three decades ago, a 20-year-old Pensacola man had just gradated the police academy. He was one of six recruits who was followed by a journalist for a feature piece in the local newspaper. Fast forward to today, that man is now the Chief of Police. In this episode of City Spotlight, Pensacola Police Chief Tommi Lyter talks about what he has learned in 30 years, how policing has changed and gives advice to others looking to make it a career.
