PPD is in the coffee business

By Officer Mike Wood, PIO
mwood@cityofpensacola.com

You are invited to the VIP Launch Party of “Midnight Shift”. It’s a bold new coffee created by the Pensacola Police Department in an effort to stay caffeinated and raise money for Rally Pensacola.

The event will be Wednesday, October 3rd from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at Urban Swinery, the newest restaurant concept as part of The Global Grill family located at 19 Palafox Place. Chef Frank Taylor will be serving a delightful array of appetizers that are infused with this flavorful do good coffee.

This coffee will make you hear colors, and smell sounds. It’s that good. It’s packed full of caffeine, courage, and integrity.

The coffee comes in two sizes, and one dollar from each sale will go to Rally Pensacola. Midnight Shift coffee will be packaged with our logo on it, and can be found anywhere fine coffee is sold.

Mayor Ashton Hayward will announce a Proclamation for Childhood Cancer during the event.

October 3rd is also National Coffee with a Cop day, so officers from the Pensacola Police Department will be on hand at the Dog House Deli at 30 South Palafox Street from 8:00am to 10:00am.
