The Martin Luther King Commemorative Celebration Commission, announces the return of the MLK Day Parade on Monday January 16, 2023. For 34 years, the MLKCCC has delivered the long-standing tradition that is celebrated along the streets of downtown Pensacola. The event had been placed on hold from 2020-2022 due to Covid-19 safety concerns. The MLK Day Parade will begin promptly at 11am. This all-day event features local schools, organizations, churches, businesses and attendees from the greater Pensacola community. The parade broadcasts live on both WEAR-TV and BlabTV. The line up will start at the intersection of Spring and Garden Streets. Registration is now open.
