Wilderness Survival Trip to Juniper Creek Trail

Join us for an overnight trip on Wednesday and Thursday night, Bear Grylls style, where participants backpack into a location where they have to build their own shelters, start their own fires, supplement their meals, and navigate their way the Blackwater River State Forest from Bear Lake down to Blackwater River State Park (approx. 18 miles). Food provided with cost.
3/19 Day 1- Classroom setting at Sanders Beach from (8-12) that includes trail and map orientation, packing list overview, building menu, shelter building, fire starting, and water purification
3/20 Day 2- 8am drop off at Sanders Beach then drive to Bear Lake to start hike to Juniper Creek Shelter for first night’s campsite
3/21 Day 3- Hike from Juniper Creek Shelter area near Blackwater State Park for second night’s camp
3/22 Day 4- Return to Sanders Beach for 11:00 pm pick up
