Dance Classes
Dance classes are offered in a variety of disciplines for youth and adults. We offer dance lessons in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, hip-hop, lyrical, modern, Irish, belly dance, line dancing, tumbling and more.
We also offer a variety of fitness and enrichment courses such as Tai Chi, Yoga, Chair Aerobics, Zumba, and martial arts.

Dance your way into Gull Point Resource Center
The City of Pensacola Parks and Recreation Department and Gull Point Resource Center are excited to host our 2023-24 dance program! If your child is ready to get moving and put on their dancing shoes, we have offerings for ages 3 and up to join one of our ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and tumbling/baton classes.
Gull Point Resource Center Performing Arts Open House
Gull Point Resource Center Performing Arts is hosting an open house on Monday, August 14, 2023, from 5-7 p.m. Learn more about the dance program, meet instructors, tour the facility, and participate in a demo class!

Meet Our Instructors
Anna WOOLFORD
“HOMETOWN”: Gulf Breeze, Florida
STARTED DANCING: Age 5
NOTABLE DANCE INVOLVEMENT: Past student and competition team member at Broadway Lights Dance Center and Five Flags Dance Academy. Won multiple High Golds and Platinums, to include a First Place overall in a Senior Duet/Trio and a Dance Scholarship. Worked with choreographers Kathryn McCormick, Robert Roldan, Valerie Rockey, Marty Dew, and Derrick Schrader
FAVORITE FORM OF DANCE: Musical Theater
WHY SHE TEACHES… "I love teaching because being able to watch a child finally learn a dance move they have been working so hard on is such a rewarding feeling."
Labrina Karol Hindle
“HOMETOWN”: Pensacola, Florida
STARTED DANCING: Age 3
NOTABLE DANCE INVOLVEMENT: Coached baton, cheered and danced while growing up. Started dancing with Pensacola School of Ballet. Received a Bachelor of Arts and Humanities in Performing Dance at University of Alabama at Birmingham. Participated in “Ballet Against Drugs” and in multiple theatrical productions and as well as served as the Gull Point Performing Dancers Assistant Artistic Director from 2014-2017. Directed the Gull Point Summer dance camp program for 10 years.
FAVORITE TYPE OF DANCE: Lyrical Ballet
WHY I TEACH: "I love to teach dance because I love working with children, and watching their joy and excitement for learning. All the hard work, shiny costumes and dedication shine through on recital day, nothing compares!"
Sherri Seibert Starr
“HOMETOWN”: Decatur, Alabama
STARTED DANCING: Age 3
NOTABLE DANCE INVOLVEMENT: Studied at Steeple Arts, attendee of Birmingham Southern Dance Seminars, Soloist with the Huntsville Ballet Company. Recipient of a Joffrey Scholarship. Ballet Mistress for Decatur, Moulton and Hartselle, Alabama and have proudly taught with Gull Point for more than 10 years.

Tracey Lee Hotopp
“HOMETOWN”: I lived in Rhode Island until 2004 when I moved to Pensacola.
STARTED DANCING: Age 3
NOTABLE DANCE INVOLVEMENT: I danced with several studios in R.I., was on dance company in H.S. and College.
FAVORITE FORM OF DANCE: Tap & Ballet
WHY SHE TEACHES…"I love the freedom of movement and watching my students grow and develop into wonderful dancers.
