The Port of Pensacola is approximately 50 acres. Identified by use, the facility is laid out as follows:
- 5 acres of berth apron(s) for vessel loading and discharge operations
- 4 acres of open area for cargo not requiring covered storage
- 8.5 acres of warehousing for cargo operations
- 18.5 acres of tenant occupancy for marine and cargo operations
- 4 acres of roadways, approaches, rail trackage, equipment and materials storage, including a 45-truck queuing area
- 10 acres for permanent dredge spoil disposal
- 8-10 additional acres available for future development
