The City of Pensacola Parks and Recreation Department has partnered with two phenomenal local fitness studios to offer free one-hour outdoor yoga and pilates sessions in city parks as a part of its Wellness in the Park Series to help promote wellness, balance and strength. Both programs are led by certified instructors and are open to all ages and levels of experience. Participants must bring their own mat and any accessories they would like to use, and are encouraged to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated as water will not be provided. The Wellness in the Park Series is scheduled on an annual basis. Scheduling for the upcoming year will be announced toward the end of the prior year.
Free Yoga in the Park
Free Yoga in the Park sessions are held on the first Sunday of every month at 9:30 a.m. in Bayview Park. Class instruction is presented by Breathe Yoga and Wellness Center.
