                                                           PPD Victim Advocate 

The Pensacola Police Department’s Victim Advocate tries to handle immediate needs of victims and their families.      

The advocate works closely with social service agencies to secure necessary services in an effort to help alleviate the physical, emotional and financial impacts of crime.                            

                   Among the services provided at no charge to victims and their families are:

  • Support during interviews with law enforcement.
  • Support during and after medical exams for evidence collection.
  • Crisis intervention.
  • Information regarding case status updates.
  • Assistance in filing Crime Victim’s  Compensation Claims.
