PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Bruce Beach Revitalization Project is one of several locations along the Continuous Waterfront Trail envisioned in the Urban Core Community Redevelopment Plan, as further conceptualized in the Pensacola Waterfront Framework Plan. The vision for this project includes a prominent scenic overview mount, trails, early learning and play features, a grand entry plaza, and cultural exhibits, kayaking facilities and other exciting features.

PAST EVENTS
- February 3, 2020 - CRA held a public workshop to review projects for funding from the Urban Core Revenue Bonds, Series 2019.
- February 10, 2020 - CRA approved the Bruce Beach Park Improvement project, along with 3 others, for funding from the Urban Core Revenue Bonds, Series 2019.
- June 22, 2021 - Virtual Presentation and Discussion was held. (Video)
- June 23, 2021 - In Person Open House was held.
- Oct. 26, 2021 - Virtual Presentation and Discussion was held. (Video)

- May 9, 2022 - CRA awarded bid #22-031 for construction of Bruce Beach Park Phase 1 to Biggs Construction Company, Inc.
