Uniform Patrol

The Uniform Patrol Division is the largest division within the department, and is where officers begin their law enforcement career by successfully completing a 16-week field training program.

UPD officers are typically the first officers who respond to calls for service from the public. The calls can range from burglaries to missing people to thefts to homicides. Once initial investigations are handled in the field by UPD officers, cases may be forwarded to the Criminal Investigations Division for follow-up investigations.

The Uniform Patrol Division secretary can be reached at 850.435.1950.
