Escambia-Pensacola Affordable Housing Advisory Committee

The newly appointed Escambia-Pensacola Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC) will hold its first meeting on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 3:00 pm, City Hall, Hagler-Mason Conference Room. AHAC members were jointly appointed by Resolution on June 19, 2008 by both the Pensacola City Council and the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners, as required by Florida Statute 420.9076. The Committee will meet at least quarterly.

First Friday Live after Five

The City of Pensacola Redevelopment Agency (CRA) has launched a live music initiative - “First Friday - Live After Five” featuring regional artists performing live in the streets of downtown Pensacola the first Friday of every month.

The CRA is excited about the convenient location and ability to provide free entertainment for the community as they gear up for the weekend. With bands kicking off at 5:00 p.m., fans will have plenty of time to catch the show and take advantage of downtown Pensacola’s many restaurants and entertainment venues.
